JB Yowell is all about being in the people business. My story is pretty simple. I was always an ambitious-minded person, a little too smart for my own good, and one of those know-it-all kids…

“We’re in expansion mode,” Yowell says by phone. “We’re looking to be a multi-chain corporation.” ALG, based in Fort Worth, consists of different companies in several industries, including commercial and residential real estate, oil and gas, as well as food and beverage, and entertainment. ALG, a partner in Hyenas comedy clubs, also has plans to grow that club across the country, Yowell says. In addition to those assets, other food and beverage holdings include Perk Kafe, a chain of coffee shops in New York City. In May, ALG introduced RetroGrub, a ghost kitchen concept operating out of the commercial kitchen of High Tower Deli & Café in the Burnett Tower. ALG acquired the deli shortly after Perrotti’s.

Kroh Exploration is an exploration and production company dedicated to increasing oil and gas reserves domestically using existing wells. The company uses cutting edge recovery methods to restore wells to their former glory days of production. Kroh Exploration is owned and operated by President and CEO Brett Kroh and Vice President/Partner Jeremy “JB” Yowell.

Cook Children's The Blast was founded by Alexa Sankary to honor her friend Michael Mancuso who unfortunately passed away from neuroblastoma at the young age of 7. That was 15 years ago. Today, the annual walk continues to honor Michael’s memory and to help other children battling pediatric cancer. On April 2, Perrotti’s Pizza, Freaky Fast Home Buyers and Investments, and Kroh Exploration are sponsoring and participating in the event as well. All three companies are in the ALG Holdings Family, LLC of businesses.

It was a season of giving for Perrotti’s Pizza and ALG Holdings Family, LLC this past December. The pizza company and the ALG team met at the beginning of the month and discussed ways that they could give back to the community. They donated pizzas to Union Gospel Mission Tarrant County and helped a few families that were struggling with their bills during the holiday season.

Fort Worth based holdings company ALG Holdings Family, LLC., is announcing its new acquisition of the esteemed Dallas comedy club Hyena’s, located in Mockingbird Station. ALG is now the majority owner of Hyena’s Dallas along with founder and talent buyer Randy Butler. Hyena’s has a second location in Fort Worth that remains under the ownership of Butler.

In February 2021, Perrotti’s was officially purchased by the holdings company with assets in the hospitality, real estate and oil & gas industries.
